Visiting the Sick

لَا بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

La ba'sa tahurun insha'Allah

No harm, it is a purification, if Allah wills.

Sahih Al-Bukhari 7:372

Dua for Healing

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Allahumma Rabban-nasi, adhibil-ba'sa, ishfi antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the affliction. Cure, for You are the One who cures. There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no illness behind.

Ruqyah: Bismillah x3, A'udhu x7

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ

A'udhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhādhir

I seek refuge in Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel and what I am wary of. (Place hand on the area of pain and say Bismillah three times, then this dua seven times.)

Dua for Someone Who Is Ill

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ

As'alullahil-'Adhima Rabbal-'Arshil-'Adhimi an yashfiyak

I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to cure you.

Dua for Pain in the Body

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Bismillah (x3), then: A'udhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhādhir (x7)

In the name of Allah (3 times), then: I seek refuge in Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel and what I am wary of (7 times).
