ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ہم سے حماد اور عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا، لیث کی سند سے، حجاج بن عبید کی سند سے، ابراہیم بن اسماعیل کی سند سے, ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ ؟ قَالَ: عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ أَوْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَوْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ، زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ حَمَّادٍ فِي الصَّلَاةِ: يَعْنِي فِي السُّبْحَةِ.
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :کیا تم میں سے کوئی شخص عاجز ہے ۔ عبدالوارث کی روایت میں ہے: آگے بڑھ جانے سے یا پیچھے ہٹ جانے سے یا دائیں یا بائیں چلے جانے سے۔ حماد کی روایت میں في الصلاة کا اضافہ ہے یعنی نفل نماز پڑھنے کے لیے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Cannot any one of you (according to the version of the narrator Abdul Warith) step forward or backward or at his right or left. The version of Hammad added: during prayer; that is, in supererogatory prayer.
