Narrated by Adi bin Hatim رضی اللہ عنہ said:
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان بن سعید نے بیان کیا، مجھ سے عبدالعزیز بن روفیع نے تمیم طائی کی سند سے بیان کیا, عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الطَّائِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، أَنَّ خَطِيبًا خَطَبَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ رَشَدَ وَمَنْ يَعْصِهِمَا، فَقَالَ قُمْ أَوِ اذْهَبْ بِئْسَ الْخَطِيبُ أَنْتَ .
Urdu Translation
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی موجودگی میں ایک خطیب نے خطبہ دیا اور یوں کہا :من يطع الله ورسوله ومن يعصهما تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم یہاں سے اٹھ جاؤ یا چلے جاؤ تم برے خطیب ہو ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
A speaker delivered a speech in the presence of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He said: Anyone who obeys Allah and His Messenger, and one who disobeys them. He said: Go away, you are a bad speaker.
