ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ہم سے عیسیٰ بن یونس نے بیان کیا، ہم سے المثنیٰ بن الصباح نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن شعیب نے اپنے والد سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: طُفْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فَلَمَّا جِئْنَا دُبُرَ الْكَعْبَةِ، قُلْتُ: أَلَا تَتَعَوَّذُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ، ثُمَّ مَضَى حَتَّى اسْتَلَمَ الْحَجَرَ وَأَقَامَ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْبَابِ فَوَضَعَ صَدْرَهُ وَوَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ وَكَفَّيْهِ هَكَذَا وَبَسَطَهُمَا بَسْطًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُهُ .
English Translation
I went round the Kabah along with Abdullah Ibn Amr رضی اللہ عنہما . When we came behind the Kabah I asked: Do you not seek refuge? He uttered the words: I seek refuge in Allah from the Hell-fire. He then went (farther) and touched the Black Stone, and stood between the corner (Black Stone) and the entrance of the Kabah. He then placed his breast, his face, his hands and his palms in this manner, and he spread them, and said: I saw the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم doing like this.
Urdu Translation
میں نے عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ طواف کیا، جب ہم لوگ کعبہ کے پیچھے آئے تو میں نے کہا: کیا آپ پناہ نہیں مانگیں گے؟ اس پر انہوں نے کہا: ہم پناہ مانگتے ہیں اللہ کی آگ سے، پھر وہ آگے بڑھتے رہے یہاں تک کہ انہوں نے حجر اسود کا استلام کیا، اور حجر اسود اور کعبہ کے دروازے کے درمیان کھڑے رہے اور اپنا سینہ، اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اپنی دونوں ہتھیلیاں اس طرح رکھیں اور انہوں نے انہیں پوری طرح پھیلایا، پھر بولے: اسی طرح میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کرتے دیکھا ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ الْمَعْنَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ الْأَقْرَعَ بْنَ حَابِسٍ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، الْحَجُّ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ أَوْ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً ؟ قَالَ: بَلْ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَمَنْ زَادَ فَهُوَ تَطَوُّعٌ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: هُوَ أَبُو سِنَانٍ الدُّؤَلِيُّ، كَذَا قَالَ عَبْدُ الْجَلِيلِ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، وَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ جَمِيعًا: عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وقَالَ عُقَيْلٌ: عَنْ سِنَانٍ.
Aqra Ibn Habis رضی اللہ عنہ asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saying: Messenger of Allah hajj is to be performed annually or only once? He replied: Only once, and if anyone performs it more often, he performs a supererogatory act. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Abu Sinan is Abu Sinan al-Du'wail. The same has been reported by both Abd al-Jalil bin Humaid and Sulaiman bin Kathir from al-Zuhri. The narrator 'Uqail reported the name Sinan .
Narrated Abu Waqid al-Laythi رضی اللہ عنہ :
حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ ابْنٍ لِأَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ: هَذِهِ ثُمَّ ظُهُورَ الْحُصْرِ.
I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saying to his wives during the Farewell Pilgrimage: This (is the pilgrimage for you); afterwards stick to the surface of the mats (i.e. should stay at home).
Abu Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ reported:
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ مُسْلِمَةٍ تُسَافِرُ مَسِيرَةَ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا رَجُلٌ ذُو حُرْمَةٍ مِنْهَا .
The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: A muslim woman must not make a journey of a night unless she is accompanied by a man who is within the prohibited degrees.
Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ reported:
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، وَالنُّفَيْلِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ الْحَسَنُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ثُمَّ اتَّفَقُوا، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُسَافِرَ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ وَ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، رَوَاهُ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، وَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، كَمَا قَالَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ.
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: A woman who believes in Allah and the last Day must not make a journey of a day and a night. He then narrated the rest of the tradition to the same effect (as above). The narrator al-Nufaili said: Malik narrated us. Abu Dawud said: The narrators al-Nufail and al_Qanabi did not mention the words “from his father”. Ibn Wahb and Uthman bin Umr narrated from Malik the same words as narrated by al-Qanabi (i.e. omitted the words “from his father”).
