Narrated by Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما :
ہم سے یعقوب بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، ہم سے معتمر نے سلم کی سند سے بیان کیا، یعنی ابن ابی الزیاد نے، مجھ سے ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے سعید بن جبیر کی سند سے بیان کیا, عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ سَلْمٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الزَّيَّادِ، حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا مُسَاعَاةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، مَنْ سَاعَى فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَدْ لَحِقَ بِعَصَبَتِهِ، وَمَنِ ادَّعَى وَلَدًا مِنْ غَيْرِ رِشْدَةٍ فَلَا يَرِثُ وَلَا يُورَثُ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :اسلام میں اجرت پر بدکاری اور زنا نہیں ہے، جس نے زمانہ جاہلیت میں بدکاری اور زنا سے کمائی کی، تو زنا سے پیدا ہونے والا بچہ اپنے عصبہ ( مالک ) سے مل جائے گا اور جس نے بغیر نکاح یا ملک کے کسی بچے کا دعویٰ کیا تو نہ تو ( بچہ ) اس کا وارث ہو گا اور نہ وہ بچے کا ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: There is no prostitution in Islam. If anyone practised prostitution in pre-Islamic times, the child will be attributed to the master (of the slave-woman). He who claims his child without a valid marriage or ownership will neither inherit nor be inherited.
