ہم سے حسن بن علی نے بیان کیا، ہم سے عبدالرزاق نے بیان کیا، انہیں معمر نے، زہری کی سند سے، ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن اور سلیمان بن یسار کی سند سے, انصار کے کچھ لوگوں سے روایت ہے کہ

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ رِجَالٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْيَهُودِ وَبَدَأَ بِهِمْ: يَحْلِفُ مِنْكُمْ خَمْسُونَ رَجُلًا، فَأَبَوْا، فَقَالَ لِلْأَنْصَارِ: اسْتَحِقُّوا، قَالُوا: نَحْلِفُ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَجَعَلَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِيَةً عَلَى يَهُودَ لِأَنَّهُ وُجِدَ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِهِمْ .
Urdu Translation
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پہلے یہود سے کہا :تم میں سے پچاس لوگ قسم کھائیں تو انہوں نے انکار کیا، پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انصار سے کہا: تم اپنا حق ثابت کرو انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم ایسی بات پر قسم کھائیں جسے ہم نے دیکھا نہیں ہے؟ چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کی دیت یہود سے دلوائی اس لیے کہ وہ انہیں کے درمیان پایا گیا تھا۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to the Jews and started with them: Fifty of you should take the oaths. But they refused (to take the oaths). He then said to the Ansar: Prove your claim. They said: Do we take the oaths without seeing, Messenger of Allah? The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم then imposed the blood-wit on the Jews because he (the slain) was found among them.
