Narrated by Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ reported:

ہم سے محمد بن متوکل عسقلانی اور مقلد بن خالد الشعیری المعنی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبد الرزاق نے بیان کیا، انہیں معمر نے خبر دی، انہیں ابن ابی ذہب نے سعید بن ابی سعید کی سند سے بیان کیا, ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الشَّعِيرِيُّ الْمَعْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا أَدْرِي أَتُبَّعٌ لَعِينٌ هُوَ أَمْ لَا ؟ وَمَا أَدْرِي أَعُزَيْرٌ نَبِيٌّ هُوَ أَمْ لَا .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ تبع قابل ملامت ہے یا نہیں، اور نہ مجھے یہ معلوم ہے کہ عزیر نبی ہیں یا نہیں ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: I do not know whether Tubba was accursed or not, and ‘Uzair (Azra was a prophet or not).
