ہم سے مومل بن الفضل حرانی نے بیان کیا، ہم سے بقیع نے بیان کیا، ان سے بحیر نے، خالد بن معدان سے، ابن ابی بلال کی سند سے, عرباض بن ساریہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي بِلَالٍ، عَنْ عِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: الْمُسَبِّحَاتِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْقُدَ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّ فِيهِنَّ آيَةً أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ آيَةٍ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سونے سے پہلے المسبحات پڑھتے تھے، اور فرماتے تھے :ان میں ایک آیت ایسی ہے جو ہزار آیتوں سے افضل ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to recite al-Musabbihat before going to sleep, and say: They contain a verse which is better than a thousand verses.
