Narrated by Jabir رضی اللہ عنہ said:

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ہم سے بشر نے شعبہ کی سند سے، محمد بن المنکر سے, جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ ذَهَبَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي دَيْنِ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَقَقْتُ الْباب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ هَذَا ؟ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا،‏‏‏‏ قال:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا أَنَا كَأَنَّهُ كَرِهَهُ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

وہ اپنے والد کے قرضے کے سلسلے میں گفتگو کرنے کے لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس گئے، تو میں نے دروازہ کھٹکھٹایا، آپ نے پوچھا :کون ہے؟ میں نے کہا: میں ہوں آپ نے فرمایا: میں، میں ( کیا؟ ) گویا کہ آپ نے ( اس طرح غیر واضح جواب دینے ) کو برا جانا۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

He went to the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about the debt of my father. He said: I knocked at the door. He asked: who is there? I replied: it is I. he said: I, as though he disapproved of it.
