ہم سے سلیمان بن عبد الرحمن الدمشقی اور عبد الوہاب بن عبد الرحیم الشجعی نے بیان کیا : ہم سے مروان نے بیان کیا : ہم سے محمد بن حسن نے بیان کیا : ہم سے عبد الوہاب الکوفی نے کہا : عبد الملک بن عمیر نے , ام عطیہ انصاریہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، حَدَّثَنَامُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْكُوفِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَتْ تَخْتِنُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا تُنْهِكِي، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَحْظَى لِلْمَرْأَةِ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى الْبَعْلِ ، قَالَ أبو داود: رُوِيَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بِمَعْنَاهُ وَإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ أبو داود: لَيْسَ هُوَ بِالْقَوِيِّ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مُرْسَلًا، قَالَ أبو داود: وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ مَجْهُولٌ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ ضَعِيفٌ.
English Translation
A woman used to perform circumcision in Madina. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. Abu Dawud said: It has been transmitted by Ubaid Allah bin Amr from Abd al-Malik to the same effect through a different chain. Abu Dawud said: It is not a strong tradition. It has been transmitted in mursal form (missing the link of the Companions) Abu Dawud said: Muhammad bin Hasan is obscure, and this tradition is weak.
Urdu Translation
مدینہ میں ایک عورت عورتوں کا ختنہ کیا کرتی تھی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے فرمایا: نیچا کر ختنہ مت کرو بہت نیچے سے مت کاٹو کیونکہ یہ عورت کے لیے زیادہ لطف و لذت کی چیز ہے اور شوہر کے لیے زیادہ پسندیدہ ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ عبیداللہ بن عمرو سے مروی ہے انہوں نے عبدالملک سے اسی سند سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث روایت کی ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث قوی نہیں ہے، وہ مرسلاً بھی روایت کی گئی ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: محمد بن حسان مجہول ہیں اور یہ حدیث ضعیف ہے۔

حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الشُّعَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاق يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَنَسٌ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ النَّاسِ خُلُقًا، فَأَرْسَلَنِي يَوْمًا لِحَاجَةٍ، فَقُلْتُ: وَاللَّهِ لَا أَذهَبُ وَفِي نَفْسِي أَنْ أَذهَبَ لِمَا أَمَرَنِي بِهِ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فَخَرَجْتُ حَتَّى أَمُرَّ عَلَى صِبْيَانٍ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ فِي السُّوقِ، فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَابِضٌ بِقَفَايَ مِنْ وَرَائِي، فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ، فَقَالَ: يَا أُنَيسُ، اذْهَبْ حَيْثُ أَمَرْتُكَ ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، أَنَا أَذّهَبُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ خَدَمْتُهُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ أَوْ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ، مَا عَلِمْتُ قَالَ لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُ: لِمَ فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا ؟ وَلَا لِشَيْءٍ تَرَكْتُ: هَلَّا فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا .
The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was one of the best of men in character. One day he sent me to do something, and I said: I swear by Allah that i will not go. But in my heart I felt that I should go to do what the prophet of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had commanded me; so I went out and came upon some boys who were playing in the street. All of a sudden the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم who had come up behind caught me by the back of the neck, and when I looked at him he was laughing. He said: Go where I ordered you, little Anas. I replied: Yes, I am going, Messenger of Allah! Anas said: I swear by Allah, I served him for seven or nine years, and he never said to me about a thing which I had done: Why did you do such and such? Nor about a thing which I left: Why did not do such and such?
Narrated Anas bin Malik رضی اللہ عنہ :
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: خَدَمْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ لَيْسَ كُلُّ أَمْرِي كَمَا يَشْتَهِي صَاحِبِي أَنْ أَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ، مَا قَالَ لِي فِيهَا: أُفٍّ قَطُّ، وَمَا قَالَ لِي: لِمَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا، أَوْ: أَلَّا فَعَلْتَ هَذَا .
I served the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم at Madina for ten years. I was a boy. Every work that I did was not according to the desire of my master, but he never said to me: Fie, nor did he say to me: Why did you do this? or Why did you not do this?
Narrated Abdullah bin Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما :
حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَابُوسُ بْنُ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِنَّ الْهَدْيَ الصَّالِحَ، وَالسَّمْتَ الصَّالِحَ، وَالِاقْتِصَادَ، جُزْءٌ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ .
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Good way, dignified good bearing and moderation are the twenty-fifth part of Prophecy.
Narrated Muadh bin Jabal رضی اللہ عنہ :
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَرْحُومٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْفِذَهُ، دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ اللَّهُ مِن الْحُورِ الْعِينِ مَا شَاءَ ، قال أَبُو دَاوُد: اسْمُ أَبِي مَرْحُومٍ: عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ.
The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: if anyone suppresses anger when he is in a position to give vent to it, Allah, the Exalted, will call him on the Day of Resurrection over the heads of all creatures, and ask him to choose any of the bright and large eyed maidens he wishes. Abu Dawud said: The name if the transmitter Abu Marhum is Abdur-Rahman bin Maimun
