ہم سے محمد بن کثیر نے بیان کیا، ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابو یحییٰ قتات نے بیان کیا، مجاہد کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْقَتَّاتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَثَوَّبَ رَجُلٌ فِي الظُّهْرِ أَوِ الْعَصْرِ،‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اخْرُجْ بِنَا فَإِنَّ هَذِهِ بِدْعَةٌ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

میں ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ تھا کہ ایک شخص نے ظہر یا عصر میں تثویب ۱؎ کی، تو ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا :ہمیں یہاں سے لے چلو، اس لیے کہ یہ بدعت ہے۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

I was in the company of Ibn Umar رضی اللہ عنہما . A person invited the people for the noon or afternoon prayer (after the adhan had been called). He said: Go out with us (from this mosque) because this is an innovation (in religion).
