Narrated by Abu Saeed al-Khudri رضی اللہ عنہ said:
ہم سے مومل بن الفضل نے بیان کیا، ہم سے عیسیٰ نے، معمر کی سند سے، یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر سے، ابو سلمہ کی سند سے, ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رُئِيَ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ وَعَلَى أَرْنَبَتِهِ أَثَرُ طِينٍ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ صَلَّاهَا بِالنَّاسِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ: هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَمْ يَقْرَأْهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي الْعَرْضَةِ الرَّابِعَةِ.
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی، جس سے آپ کی پیشانی اور ناک پر مٹی کے نشانات دیکھے گئے۔ ابو علی کہتے ہیں :یہ حدیث ابوداؤد نے چوتھی اردہ میں نہیں پڑھی۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The mark of earth was seen on the forehead and nose of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم who had led the people I prayer. Abu Ali said: Abu Dawud did not recite this tradition when he recited his collection (of sunan) for the fourth time.
