حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق الْبَغْدَادِيُّ الصَّاغَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ بَاتَ وَفِي يَدِهِ رِيحُ غَمَرٍ فَأَصَابَهُ شَيْءٌ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَعْمَشِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :جو شخص رات گزارے اور اس کے ہاتھ میں چکنائی کی بو ہو پھر اسے کوئی بلا پہنچے تو وہ صرف اپنے آپ کو برا بھلا کہے ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ہم اسے اعمش کی روایت سے صرف اسی سند سے جانتے ہیں۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
Narrated Abu Hurairah: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever spends the night with [a smell] on his hand and something happens to him, then let him not blame anyone but himself. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Gharib, we do not know of it as a narration of Al-'Amash except through this route.
