Narrated by It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed رضی اللہ عنہ said:

ہم سے محمد بن صباح نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو سفیان بن عیینہ نے خبر دی، وہ ابن عجلان سے، وہ عیاض بن عبداللہ کی سند سے, ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَصَلَّيْتَ؟ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خطبہ دے رہے تھے، اسی دوران ایک شخص مسجد میں آیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :کیا تم نے نماز پڑھ لی؟ اس نے کہا: جی نہیں، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: دو رکعت پڑھ لو ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

“A man entered the mosque when the Prophet (ﷺ) was delivering the sermon. He said: ‘Have you prayed?’ He said: ‘No.’ He said: ‘Then pray two Rak’ah.’”
