Narrated by It was narrated that Umm Salamah رضی اللہ عنہا said:

ہم سے ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابو الاحواص نے بیان کیا، وہ ابواسحاق کی سند سے، وہ ابو سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے, ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ وَالَّذِي ذَهَبَ بِنَفْسِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مَاتَ حَتَّى كَانَ أَكْثَرُ صَلَاتِهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَيْهِ الْعَمَلَ الصَّالِحَ الَّذِي يَدُومُ عَلَيْهِ الْعَبْدُ وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسِيرًا .

Urdu Translation

اردو

قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی جان کو قبض کیا، آپ وفات سے پہلے اکثر بیٹھ کر نمازیں پڑھا کرتے تھے، اور آپ کو وہ نیک عمل انتہائی محبوب اور پسندیدہ تھا جس پر بندہ ہمیشگی اختیار کرے، خواہ وہ تھوڑا ہی ہو ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

‘By the One Who took his soul (i.e., the soul of the Prophet (ﷺ)), he did not die until he offered most of his prayers sitting down. And the dearest of the actions to him was the righteous action that the person does regularly, even if it were a little.”
