Narrated by It was narrated from Hudhaifah رضی اللہ عنہ that:
ہم سے علی بن محمد نے بیان کیا، ہم سے وکیع نے، سفیان کی سند سے بیان کیا اور ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، ہم سے محمد بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سب نے ابو اسحاق کی سند سے اور صلہ بن زفر سے, حذیفہ بن الیمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، جَمِيعًا، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ: سَأَبْعَثُ مَعَكُمْ رَجُلًا أَمِينًا حَقَّ أَمِينٍ ، قَالَ: فَتَشَوَّفَ لَهَا النَّاسُ، فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اہل نجران سے فرمایا :میں تمہارے ساتھ ایک ایسے امانت دار آدمی کو بھیجوں گا جو انتہائی درجہ امانت دار ہے ، حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: لوگ اس امین شخص کی جانب گردنیں اٹھا کر دیکھنے لگے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابوعبیدہ بن جراح کو بھیجا۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah said to the people of Najran: I will send you a trustworthy man with you, who is indeed trustworthy. The people craned their necks to see, and he sent Abu 'Ubaidah bin Jarrah.
