ہم سے احمد بن منیع نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے زید بن الحباب نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے ابراہیم بن عثمان نے الحکم کی سند سے، مقسم کی سند سے بیان کیا, عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ قَرَأَ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز جنازہ میں سورۃ فاتحہ پڑھی ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Prophet (ﷺ) recited the Opening of the Book (Al-Fatihah) in the funeral prayer.
