Narrated by It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abu Talib رضی اللہ عنہ that:
ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے روح بن عبادہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابن جریج نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو قاسم بن یزید نے خبر دی،علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: يُرْفَعُ الْقَلَمُ عَنِ الصَّغِيرِ، وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ، وَعَنِ النَّائِمِ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :بچے، دیوانے اور سوئے ہوئے شخص سے قلم اٹھا لیا جاتا ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The Pen is lifted from the minor, the insane person and the sleeper.
