ہم سے محمد بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابو عاصم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے میرے والد نے بیان کیا، وہ زبیر بن عبید رضی اللہ عنہ سے, نافع کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ أُجَهِّزُ إِلَى الشَّامِ وَإِلَى مِصْرَ فَجَهَّزْتُ إِلَى الْعِرَاقِ، فَأَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَقُلْتُ: لَهَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كُنْتُ أُجَهِّزُ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَجَهَّزْتُ إِلَى الْعِرَاقِ، فَقَالَتْ: لَا تَفْعَلْ مَا لَكَ وَلِمَتْجَرِكَ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: إِذَا سَبَّبَ اللَّهُ لِأَحَدِكُمْ رِزْقًا مِنْ وَجْهٍ، فَلَا يَدَعْهُ حَتَّى يَتَغَيَّرَ لَهُ، أَوْ يَتَنَكَّرَ لَهُ .
Urdu Translation
میں اپنا سامان تجارت شام اور مصر بھیجا کرتا تھا، پھر میں نے عراق کی طرف بھیج دیا، پھر میں ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آیا، اور ان سے کہا کہ میں اپنا سامان تجارت شام بھیجا کرتا تھا، لیکن اس بار میں نے عراق بھیج دیا ہے، تو انہوں نے کہا :ایسا نہ کرو، تمہاری پہلی تجارت گاہ کو کیا ہوا کہ اس کو چھوڑ کر تم نے دوسری اختیار کر لی؟ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: اللہ تعالیٰ جب تم میں سے کسی کے لیے روزی کا کوئی ذریعہ پیدا کر دے، تو وہ اسے نہ چھوڑے یہاں تک کہ وہ بدل جائے، یا بگڑ جائے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
I used to send trade goods to Sham and Egypt, then I prepared to send trade goods to 'Iraq. I went to 'Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا , the Mother of the Believers, and said to her: O Mother of the Believers I used to send trade goods to Sham and I am preparing to send trade goods to 'Iraq. She said: Do not do that. What is wrong with the way you have been doing it? I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'If Allah causes provision to come to one of you through a certain means, he should not leave it unless it changes or deteriorates.
