Narrated by It was narrated that 'Ali رضی اللہ عنہ said:
ہم سے عمرو بن علی ابو حفص الصرافی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوداؤد نے بیان کیا، اور کہا کہ ہم سے محمد بن عبادہ وسطی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے یزید بن ہارون نے بیان کیا، ان دونوں نے کہا: ہم سے ورقع نے بیان کیا، عبد الاعلٰی سے اور ابو جمیلہ سے, علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَبُو حَفْصٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَمَرَنِي فَأَعْطَيْتُ الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پچھنا لگوایا، اور مجھے حکم دیا تو میں نے حجام ( پچھنا لگانے والے ) کو اس کی اجرت دی۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was treated with cupping and he told me to give the cupper his wages.
