ہم سے محمد بن زیاد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبد الاعلی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سعید نے، قتادہ کی سند سے، وہ ابو نضرہ سے, ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: غَلَا السِّعْرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالُوا: لَوْ قَوَّمْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو، أَنْ أُفَارِقَكُمْ وَلَا يَطْلُبَنِي أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ بِمَظْلَمَةٍ ظَلَمْتُهُ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد میں مہنگائی بڑھ گئی، تو لوگوں نے عرض کیا :اللہ کے رسول! اگر آپ نرخ مقرر کر دیں تو اچھا رہے گا! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میری خواہش ہے کہ میں تم سے اس حال میں جدا ہوں کہ کوئی مجھ سے کسی زیادتی کا جو میں نے اس پر کی ہو مطالبہ کرنے والا نہ ہو ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
Prices rose at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and they said: 'Why do you not fix the food prices, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'I hope that when I leave you, no one among you will be demanding restitution for a wrong that I have done to him. '
