Narrated by It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما that:

ہم سے عبدالرحمٰن بن عبد الوہاب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سالم بن قتیبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے شریک کی سند سے، لیث کی سند سے، طاؤس کی سند سے, عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ لَيْثٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ وَرَّثَ جَدَّةً سُدُسًا .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دادی و نانی کو چھٹے حصے کا وارث بنایا۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave a grandmother one sixth of the inheritance.
