Narrated by Abdullah bin Mas'ud رضی اللہ عنہ said:

ہم سے محمد بن یحییٰ النیسابوری نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابو الولید ہشام بن عبد الملک نے بیان کیا، ہم سے حماد نے، عاصم کی سند سے، زر بن حبیش کی سند سے, عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَعْرِفُ مَنْ لَمْ تَرَ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ غُرٌّ مُحَجَّلُونَ بُلْقٌ مِنْ آثَارِ الطُّهُورِ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

عرض کیا گیا :اللہ کے رسول! آپ اپنی امت کے ان لوگوں کو قیامت کے دن کیسے پہچانیں گے جن کو آپ نے دیکھا نہیں ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وضو کے اثر کی وجہ سے ان کی پیشانی، ہاتھ اور پاؤں سفید اور روشن ہوں گے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how will you recognize those whom you have not seen of your Ummah?' He said: 'From the blazes of their foreheads and feet, like horses with black and white traces (which make them distinct from others) which are the traces of ablution.' (Hasan) Another chain with similar wording.
