ہم سے علی بن محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن نمیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے عبید اللہ سے اور نافع کی سند سے, عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: ضَمَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَيْلَ، فَكَانَ يُرْسِلُ الَّتِي ضُمِّرَتْ مِنْ الْحَفْيَاءِ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، وَالَّتِي لَمْ تُضَمَّرْ مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گھوڑوں کو پھرتیلا بنایا، آپ پھرتیلے چھریرے بدن والے گھوڑوں کو مقام حفیاء سے ثنیۃ الوداع تک اور غیر پھرتیلے گھوڑوں کو ثنیۃ الوداع سے مسجد بنی زریق تک دوڑاتے تھے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a horse lean, and he would send the horse that he had made lean from Hafya’ to Thaniyyatul-Wada’, and (he would send) the horse that he had not made lean from Thaniyyatul-Wada’ to the mosque of Banu Zuraiq.”
