Narrated by It was narrated that Anas bin Malik رضی اللہ عنہ said:

ہم سے بشر بن ہلال الصو اف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جعفر بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، وہ ابو عمران الجونی کی سند سے, انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الصَّوَّافُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وُقِّتَ لَنَا فِي قَصِّ الشَّارِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَلْقِ الْعَانَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنَتْفِ الْإِبِطِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَقْلِيمِ الْأَظْفَارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْ لَا نَتْرُكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً .

Urdu Translation

اردو

ہمارے لیے مونچھوں کے تراشنے، موئے زیر ناف مونڈنے، بغل کے بال اکھیڑنے، اور ناخن تراشنے کے بارے میں وقت کی تعیین کر دی گئی ہے کہ ہم انہیں چالیس دن سے زیادہ نہ چھوڑے رکھیں ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

We were given a time limit with regard to trimming the mustache, shaving the pubic hairs, plucking the armpit hairs and clipping the nails. We were not to leave that for more than forty days.
