Narrated by It was narrated from Talhah bin ‘Ubaidullah رضی اللہ عنہ that:
ہم سے ہشام بن عمار نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے حسن بن یحییٰ خشنی نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے عمر بن قیس نے بیان کیا، کہا: مجھے طلحہ بن یحییٰ نے اپنے چچا اسحاق بن طلحہ کی سند سے خبر دی, طلحہ بن عبیداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْخُشَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَمِّهِ إِسْحَاق بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: الْحَجُّ جِهَادٌ، وَالْعُمْرَةُ تَطَوُّعٌ .
Urdu Translation
انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا :حج جہاد ہے، اور عمرہ نفل ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
He heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Hajj is Jihad and ‘Umrah is voluntary.”
