Narrated by It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما that:

ہم سے علی بن محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابو معاویہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے حجاج کی سند سے اور عطا کی سند سے, عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :رمضان میں عمرہ ( کا ثواب ) حج کے برابر ہے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj.”
