ہم سے یعقوب بن حمید بن کاسب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے مروان بن معاویہ نے یزید بن کیسان کی سند سے اور ابو حازم کی سند سے بیان کیا, ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، مَا شَبِعَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ تِبَاعًا مِنْ خُبْزِ الْحِنْطَةِ، حَتَّى تَوَفَّاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ .
Urdu Translation
قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مسلسل تین روز تک کبھی گیہوں کی روٹی سیر ہو کر نہیں کھائی یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو وفات دے دی ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
“By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) never ate his fill of wheat bread for three days in a row, until Allah took his soul.”
