Narrated by It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah رضی اللہ عنہ that:

ہم سے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، ہم سے انس بن عیاض نے بیان کیا، مجھ سے داؤد بن بکر نے محمد بن المنکدر کی سند سے بیان کیا, جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي دَاوُدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ ّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا أَسْكَرَ كَثِيرُهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَلِيلُهُ حَرَامٌ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :جس کی زیادہ مقدار نشہ آور ہو، اس کا تھوڑا بھی حرام ہے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whatever causes intoxication in large amounts, a small amount of it is (also) unlawful.”
