Narrated by Abu Sa’eed رضی اللہ عنہ narrated that:
ہم سے ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے یزید بن ہارون نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابن ابی ذہب کی سند سے، وہ سعید بن خالد کی سند سے، انہوں نے ابو سلمہ کی سند سے, ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيِ الذُّبَابِ سُمٌّ، وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ، فَإِذَا وَقَعَ فِي الطَّعَامِ فَامْقُلُوهُ فِيهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُقَدِّمُ السُّمَّ، وَيُؤَخِّرُ الشِّفَاءَ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :مکھی کے ایک پر میں زہر اور دوسرے میں شفاء ہے، اگر وہ کھانے میں گر جائے تو اسے اس میں پوری طرح ڈبو دو، اس لیے کہ وہ زہر والا پر آگے رکھتی ہے ( اور وہی کھانے میں ڈالتی ہے ) اور شفاء والا پیچھے رکھتی ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “On one of the wings of a fly there is a poison and on the other is the cure. If it falls into the food, then dip it into it, for it puts the poison first and holds back the cure.”
