ہم سے ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدہ بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، وہ ہشام بن عروہ نے اپنے والد سے, ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِ ذِي الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَلْتَمِسُ الْبَصَرَ وَيُصِيبُ الْحَبَلَ ، يَعْنِي: حَيَّةً خَبِيثَةً.
Urdu Translation
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو دھاری سانپ کو مار ڈالنے کا حکم دیا، اس لیے کہ وہ آنکھ کی بینائی کو زائل کرنے اور عورتوں کے حمل کو گرا دیتا ہے، یہ ایک خبیث سانپ ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
“The Prophet (ﷺ) enjoined killing Dhit-Tufytain* for it takes away the sight and causes miscarriage.” *That means a wicked snake.
