Narrated by Uqbah bin Amir رضی اللہ عنہ said:
ہم سے حسین بن الحسن المروزی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابن مبارک نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے حرملہ بن عمران سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عشنہ المعافری کو کہتے سنا, عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ حَرْمَلَةَ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُشَانَةَ الْمُعَافِرِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ثَلَاثُ بَنَاتٍ فَصَبَرَ عَلَيْهِنَّ، وَأَطْعَمَهُنَّ، وَسَقَاهُنَّ، وَكَسَاهُنَّ مِنْ جِدَتِهِ، كُنَّ لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .
Urdu Translation
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا :جس کے پاس تین لڑکیاں ہوں، اور وہ ان کے ہونے پر صبر کرے، ان کو اپنی کمائی سے کھلائے پلائے اور پہنائے، تو وہ اس شخص کے لیے قیامت کے دن جہنم سے آڑ ہوں گی ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
I heard the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) say: Whoever has three daughters and is patient towards them, and feeds them, gives them to drink, and clothes them from his wealth; they will be a shield for him from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.'
