ہم سے ہارون بن اسحاق نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے محمد بن عبد الوہاب نے بیان کیا، وہ سفیان سے اور سلمہ بن کلہیل سے, جندب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ جُنْدَبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ يُرَاءِ يُرَاءِ اللَّهُ بِهِ، وَمَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللَّهُ بِهِ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :جو ریاکاری کرے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ اس کی ریاکاری لوگوں کے سامنے نمایاں اور ظاہر کرے گا، اور جو شہرت کے لیے کوئی عمل کرے گا اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو رسوا اور ذلیل کرے گا ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., expose his real motives).”
