Narrated by It was narrated that Abu Umamah Al-Bahili رضی اللہ عنہ said:

ہم سے محمود بن خالد اور عباس بن الولید دمشقیان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مروان بن محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے رشدین نے بیان کیا، ہمیں معاویہ بن صالح نے راشد بن سعد کی سند سے خبر دی, ابوامامہ باہلی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَالْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الدِّمَشْقِيَّانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَامُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا مَا غَلَبَ عَلَى رِيحِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَطَعْمِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَوْنِهِ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :پانی کو کوئی چیز ناپاک نہیں کرتی مگر جو چیز اس کی بو، مزہ اور رنگ پر غالب آ جائے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Water is not made impure by anything except that which changes its smell, taste and color.'
