Narrated by It was narrated that Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet, said:

ہم سے ہشام بن عمار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مالک بن انس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے محمد بن عمرہ بن عمرو بن حزم نے بیان کیا, ابراہیم بن عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف کی ام ولد سے روایت ہے کہا

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُطِيلُ ذَيْلِي فَأَمْشِي فِي الْمَكَانِ الْقَذِرِ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يُطَهِّرُهُ مَا بَعْدَهُ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

انہوں نے ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ سے پوچھا :میرا دامن بہت لمبا ہے، اور مجھے گندی جگہ میں چلنا پڑتا ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: ناپاک زمین کے بعد والی زمین اس دامن کو پاک کر دیتی ہے.

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

I am a woman whose hem is lengthy, and I may walk through a dirty place. The Messenger of Allah said: 'That which comes after it purifies it.'
