Narrated by It was narrated that 'Umar bin Khattab رضی اللہ عنہ said:

ہم سے حرملہ بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابن وہب نے بیان کیا اور ہم سے ابن حمید نے بیان کیا، ہم سے زید بن حباب نے بیان کیا، ان دونوں نے کہا: ہم سے ابن لحیہ نے ابو الزبیر کی سند سے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کیا,عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا تَوَضَّأَ فَتَرَكَ مَوْضِعَ الظُّفْرِ عَلَى قَدَمِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ الْوُضُوءَ وَالصَّلَاةَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَجَعَ.

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا، جس نے وضو کیا اور اپنے پاؤں پر ناخن برابر جگہ خشک چھوڑ دی، تو آپ نے اسے وضو اور نماز دونوں کو دوہرانے کا حکم دیا، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں :اس نے دوبارہ وضو کیا، اور نماز پڑھی۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah saw a man performing ablution and he missed a spot the size of a fingernail on his foot. He commanded him to repeat the ablution and his prayer, so he did.
