ہم سے احمد بن عبدہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو حماد بن زید نے خبر دی، کہا ہم کو یحییٰ ابو المعلی نے خبر دی ,حسن عرنی کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى أَبُو الْمُعَلَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ فَذَكَرُوا:‏‏‏‏ الْكَلْبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْحِمَارَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمَرْأَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا تَقُولُونَ فِي الْجَدْيِ؟ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ يُصَلِّي يَوْمًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَذَهَبَ جَدْيٌ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَبَادَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقِبْلَةَ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس ان چیزوں کا ذکر ہوا جو نماز کو توڑ دیتی ہیں، لوگوں نے کتے، گدھے اور عورت کا ذکر کیا، عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے پوچھا :تم لوگ بکری کے بچے کے بارے میں کیا کہتے ہو؟ ایک دن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، تو بکری کا ایک بچہ آپ کے سامنے سے گزرنے لگا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جلدی سے قبلہ کی طرف بڑھے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

‘Mention was made in the presence of Ibn ‘Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما about what severs the prayer. They mentioned a dog, a donkey and a woman. He said: ‘What do you say about kids (young goats)? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was performing prayer one day, when a kid came and wanted to pass in front of him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) preceded it toward the Qiblah. (to tighten the space and prevent it from passing in front of him).’”
