Arabic Text
وَعَن أُمِّ قَيْسٍ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «على مَ تَدْغَرْنَ أَوْلَادَكُنَّ بِهَذَا الْعِلَاقِ؟ عَلَيْكُنَّ بِهَذَا الْعُودِ الْهِنْدِيِّ فَإِنَّ فِيهِ سَبْعَةَ أَشْفِيَةٍ مِنْهَا ذَاتُ الْجَنْبِ يُسْعَطُ مِنَ الْعُذْرَةِ وَيُلَدُّ مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجنب»
Urdu Translation
ام قیس ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا :’’ تم اس علاق (حلق کے ورم) کی وجہ سے اپنی اولاد کا حلق کیوں دباتی ہو ؟ بس تم یہ عود ہندی استعمال کرو ، کیونکہ اس میں سات بیماریوں سے شفا ہے ، ان میں سے ایک نمونیہ ہے ، حلق کے ورم کی وجہ سے اسے ناک سے ڈالا جائے اور نمونیہ کی صورت میں منہ کے ایک طرف سے ڈالی جائے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
