Arabic Text
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ خَلِيلًا وَلَكِنَّهُ أَخِي وَصَاحِبِي وَقَدِ اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ صَاحِبَكُمْ خَلِيلًا» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Urdu Translation
عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ ، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا :’’ اگر میں کسی کو خلیل (جگری دوست) بناتا تو میں ابوبکر کو دوست بناتا ، لیکن وہ میرے بھائی اور میرے ساتھی ہیں اور اللہ تمہارے ساتھی کو خلیل بنا چکا ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
