Arabic Text
وَعَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ: أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ فَكَلَّمَتْهُ فِي شَيْءٍ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جِئْتُ وَلَمْ أَجِدْكَ؟ كَأَنَّهَا تُرِيدُ الْمَوْتَ. قَالَ: «فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدِينِي فَأْتِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ» . مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
Urdu Translation
جبیر بن مطعم ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ایک عورت نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں آئی تو اس نے کسی معاملہ میں آپ سے بات کی تو آپ نے اسے دوبارہ اپنی خدمت میں حاضر ہونے کا حکم فرمایا ، اس نے عرض کیا :اللہ کے رسول ! مجھے بتائیں کہ اگر میں آؤں اور آپ کو نہ پاؤں ، گویا اس سے مراد (آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی) وفات تھی ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا :’’ اگر تم مجھے نہ پاؤ تو پھر ابوبکر کے پاس آنا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
