ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا ، کہا ہم کو شعیب نے خبر دی ، کہا ہم سے ابوالزناد نے بیان کیا ، ان سے اعرج نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ يَتَعَاقَبُونَ، مَلاَئِكَةٌ بِاللَّيْلِ وَمَلاَئِكَةٌ بِالنَّهَارِ، وَيَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ، ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِينَ بَاتُوا فِيكُمْ، فَيَسْأَلُهُمْ وَهْوَ أَعْلَمُ، فَيَقُولُ كَيْفَ تَرَكْتُمْ ‏{‏عِبَادِي‏}‏ فَيَقُولُونَ تَرَكْنَاهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ، وَأَتَيْنَاهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ ‏"‏‏.‏

Urdu Translation

اردو

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ فرشتے آگے پیچھے زمین پر آتے جاتے رہتے ہیں ، کچھ فرشتے رات کے ہیں اور کچھ دن کے اور یہ سب فجر اور عصر کی نماز میں جمع ہو جاتے ہیں ۔ پھر وہ فرشتے جو تمہارے یہاں رات میں رہے ۔ اللہ کے حضور میں جاتے ہیں ، اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے دریافت فرماتا ہے .... حالانکہ وہ سب سے زیادہ جاننے والا ہے ۔ ۔ ۔ کہ تم نے میرے بندوں کو کس حال میں چھوڑا ، وہ فرشتے عرض کرتے ہیں کہ جب ہم نے انہیں چھوڑا تو وہ ( فجر کی ) نماز پڑھ رہے تھے ۔ اور اسی طرح جب ہم ان کے یہاں گئے تھے ، جب بھی وہ ( عصر ) کی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Angels keep on descending from and ascending to the Heaven in turn, some at night and some by daytime, and all of them assemble together at the time of the Fajr and `Asr prayers. Then those who have stayed with you over-night, ascent unto Allah Who asks them, and He knows the answer better than they, "How have you left My slaves?" The angles reply: When we left them, they were performing the prayer and again when we went towards them, they were even then performing the prayer.
