ہم سے ابوعاصم ضحاک بن مخلد نے بیان کیا ، کہا ہم کو اوزاعی نے خبر دی ، کہا ہم سے حسان بن عطیہ نے بیان کیا ، ان سے ابوکبشہ نے اور ان سے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً، وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلاَ حَرَجَ، وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Urdu Translation

اردو

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ، میرا پیغام لوگوں کو پہنچاؤ ! اگرچہ ایک ہی آیت ہو اور بنی اسرائیل کے واقعات تم بیان کر سکتے ہو ، ان میں کوئی حرج نہیں اور جس نے مجھ پر قصداً جھوٹ باندھا تو اسے اپنے جہنم کے ٹھکانے کے لیے تیار رہنا چاہئے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence, and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so. And whoever tells a lie on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire."
