ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہیں سمی نے، انہیں ابوصالح نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ ‏{‏غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ‏}‏ فَقُولُوا آمِينَ‏.‏ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جب امام غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين‏ کہے تو تم آمين‏.‏ کہو کیونکہ جس کا یہ کہنا ملائکہ کے کہنے کے ساتھ ہو جائے اس کی تمام پچھلی خطائیں معاف ہو جاتی ہیں۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the Imam says: 'Ghair-il-Maghdubi `alaihim Walad-Dallin (i.e. not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (1.7)), then you must say, 'Ameen', for if one's utterance of 'Ameen' coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven."
