ہم سے محمد بن خالد ذہلی نے بیان کیا ، کہا ہم سے انصاری محمد نے بیان کیا ، کہا ہم سے ہمارے والد نے بیان کیا ، ان سے ثمامہ نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الذُّهْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَنْصَارِيُّ، مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ قَيْسَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ، كَانَ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَنْزِلَةِ صَاحِبِ الشُّرَطِ مِنَ الأَمِيرِ.
Urdu Translation
قیس بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ اس طرح رہتے تھے جیسے امیر کے ساتھ کوتوال رہتا ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
Qais bin Sa`d رضی اللہ عنہ was to the Prophet (ﷺ) like a chief police officer to an Amir (chief).
