Narrated by Narrated Ibn `Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما :

ہم سے عبد الاعلیٰ بن حماد نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یزید بن زریع نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سعید نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے قتادہ نے ‘ ان سے ابو العالیہ نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِنَّ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ ‏ "‏ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Urdu Translation

اردو

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا پریشانی کے وقت کرتے تھے کوئی معبود اللہ کے سوا نہیں جو عظیم ہے اور بردبار ہے ۔ کوئی معبود اللہ کے سوا نہیں جو عرش عظیم کا رب ہے ۔ کوئی معبود اللہ کے سوا نہیں جو آسمانوں کا رب ہے اور عرش کریم کا رب ہے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to say at the time of difficulty, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Majestic, the Most Forbearing. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Lord of the Tremendous Throne. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Lord of the Heavens and the Lord of the Honourable Throne.
