ہم سے عثمان بن ابی شیبہ نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے جریرنے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے منصور نے بیان کیا ‘ان سے ابراہیم نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے عبیدہ نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ جَاءَ حَبْرٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ السَّمَوَاتِ عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ، وَالأَرَضِينَ عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ، وَالْمَاءَ وَالثَّرَى عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ، وَالْخَلاَئِقَ عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ، ثُمَّ يَهُزُّهُنَّ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ‏.‏ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَضْحَكُ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ تَعَجُّبًا وَتَصْدِيقًا، لِقَوْلِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏{‏وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ‏}‏ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ‏{‏يُشْرِكُونَ‏}‏

Urdu Translation

اردو

یہودیوں کا ایک عالم خدمت نبوی میں حاضر ہوا اور کہا کہ جب قیامت قائم ہو گی تو اللہ تعالیٰ آسمانوں کو ایک انگلی پر ‘ زمین کو ایک انگلی پر ‘ پانی اور کیچڑ کو ایک انگلی پر ‘ اور تمام مخلوقات کو ایک انگلی پر اٹھا لے گا اور پھر اسے ہلائے گا اور کہے گا میں بادشاہ ہوں ‘ میں بادشاہ ہوں ۔ میں نے دیکھا کہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہنسنے لگے یہاں تک کہ آپ کے دندان مبارک کھل گئے‘اس بات کی تصدیق اور تعجب کرتے ہوئے ۔ پھر آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ آیت پڑھی ۔ انہوں نے اللہ کی شان کے مطابق قدر نہیں کی ارشاد خدا وندی یشرکون تک ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

A priest from the Jews came (to the Prophet) and said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will place all the heavens on one finger, and the Earth on one finger, and the waters and the land on one finger, and all the creation on one finger, and then He will shake them and say. 'I am the King! I am the King!'" I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) smiling till his premolar teeth became visible expressing his amazement and his belief in what he had said. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) recited: 'No just estimate have they made of Allah such as due to Him (up to)...; High is He above the partners they attribute to Him.' (39.67)
