حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَوَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ التَّمِيمِيُّ، وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ حَتَّى جَلَسَ إِلَيْنَا فَقِيلَ لِحُذَيْفَةَ: إِنَّ هَذَا يَرْفَعُ إِلَى السُّلْطَانِ أَشْيَاءَ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ إِرَادَةَ أَنْ يُسْمِعَهُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ»
Urdu Translation
ہم حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ مسجد میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے تو ایک آدمی آکر ہمارے پاس بیٹھ گیا ۔ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو بتایا گیاکہ یہ شخص ( لوگوں کی ) باتیں حکمران تک پہنچاتا ہے تو حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے سنانے کی غرض سے کہا :میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنا ، آپ فرماتے تھے : ’’ چغل خور جنت میں داخل نہ ہو گا ۔ ‘ ‘
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
We were sitting with Hudhaifa رضی اللہ عنہ in the mosque. A man came and sat along with us. It was said to Hudhaifa رضی اللہ عنہ that he was the man who carried tales to the ruler. Hudhaifa رضی اللہ عنہ remarked with the intention of conveying to him: I have heard the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) saying: The tale-bearer will not enter Paradise.
