Narrated by It was narrated from Az-Zuhri with this narrators (a hadith similar to no. 6117). I the hadith of Ma'mar it adds:

مجھ سے حرملہ بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابن وہب نے بیان کیا, یو نس اور معمر دونوں نے اسی سند کے ساتھ زہری سے روایت کی اور معمر کی حدیث میں مزید بیان ہے

النص العربي

وحَدَّثَنِيهِ حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، كِلَاهُمَا، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ «رَجُلٌ سَأَلَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ وَنَقَّرَ عَنْهُ» وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعْدًا.

Urdu Translation

اردو

ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ایک چیز کے بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بال کٹوانے میں مشغول ہو گئے۔ اور یونس کی حدیث میں کہا :عا مر بن سعد ( سے روایت ہے ) انھوں نے حضرت سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

A person asked about a thing from Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and he indulged in hair-splitting. And in the hadith of Yunus, he said: (It is narrated from) 'Amr bin Sa'd, he heard it from Hazrat Sa'd (رضی اللہ عنہ).
