Narrated by Anas رضی اللہ عنہ reported:

ہم سے عبید اللہ بن معاذ نے بیان کیا، ہم سے میرے والد نے بیان کیا، ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا, ثابت نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( دعا فرماتے ہوئے یہ ) کہا کرتے تھے :اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں بھی اچھائی عطا فرما اور آخرت میں بھی اچھائی عطا فرما اور ہمیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچا ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌) used to supplicate (in these words): Our Lord, grant us the good in this world and the good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of Hell Fire.
