وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِمِنْدِيلٍ فَلَمْ يَمَسَّهُ وَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: بِالْمَاءِ هَكَذَا يَعْنِي يَنْفُضُهُ
Urdu Translation
عبد اللہ بن ادریس نے اعمش کی سابقہ سند کے ساتھ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے حضرت میمونہ ؓ کی روایت بیان کی کہ نبی اکرمﷺ کے پاس تولیہ لایا گیا توآپ نے اسے ہاتھ نہ لگایا اور پانی کے ساتھ اس طرح کرنے لگے ، یعنی جھاڑنے لگے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
Ibn Abbas narrated It on the authority of Maimuna that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was given a towel, but he did not rub (his body) with it, but he did like this with water, i. e. he shook it off.
